Illustration Friday: Sail





My submission for Illustration Friday's "Sail" is a diecut greeting card that says: I wiped away the weeds and foam, I fetched my sea born treasures home ~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

  18. My dream is to live in a cottage by the sea, just like this one! And you even have my favorite tuxedo kitty waiting for me. How perfect is that! I'm glad you chose this song too. I wanted to use it but it didn't fit with my image. I'm always glad I stopped by!

  20. You know, I saw this and oohed and aaahed and admired all the colors and shapes and little kitty. But then I saw that it was a CARD, and not just any card, but a die cut card. I just about fell over from the cleverness! Fantastic stuff!

  31. Ahhh cool, dood! A die-cut piece..I love those. I think it's been so so long that I've done one myself, I forgot how to set one up to produce for die cut!!
    Very nice, and great quote from Emerson...I like that one a lot.

    I recently got back from that cross country trip, month long trip with my brother and family. What fun...great to see all the different people in our little chunk of land here in the US. Such a variety, and very inspiring...
