Illustration Friday: Time

My submission for Illustration Friday's "Time" is a dimensional painting I made in 1992. The title of this piece is "Night Clawk" and it was hanging in a restaurant in Westwood, CA and a young man named Kirtland Washington came in and purchased it. It's cool how a painting is a part of the artist and then someone takes it home and it has it's very own life out in the world somewhere. I hope Kirtland still has it and enjoys it. I am close to finishing the Shoe House and will post it soon.

OMG! I LOVE this piece. I love all your pieces... but this one is just WOW.
I think it needed a little black kitty though. I love searching you pics for the little black kitty :)

Crazy...really like how this breaks the frame...This is one I would really like to see in person because while it looks 3D at the same time it doesn't if that makes sense...did you cut away a piece of the frame? Per the usual great light effects here to make it pop...

Clever title for this piece! And how did I know ( or feel) you'd be playing this song?

Dreamy! I'm such a fan of your buildings and houses. This is really awesome. And it was cool to imagine the hawk while listening to Pink Floyd, too.

Really beautiful! I just feel like back to night time each day to celebrate the essence of magical light that speaks so well here.
What a legend!

Yes, I bet it's like losing a part of you when you sell a piece. I think I would want to know who bought my art (if I were an artist) just for that special connection.

Oooh... I like the way it breaks the boundary with the roof top...

Imagine having a painting by Valgal on your wall ...well... you already know how that feels...hee hee!!
