Illustration Friday: Spotted

My submission for Illustration Friday's topic Spotted is from my 2003 HomeMade calendar, for the month of September. The title is "Log Home". I chose this painting because I spotted some spotted deer standing in the dappled forest.
The quote: I go into the wilderness and rediscover the home within. ~China Galland

How many paintings do you have??????!!!!! Just amazing...I tell ya. You have art for just about everything.
You know, I just got the "Dood" thing...it took me a couple times of seeing it, but realized you probably called me 'dood' because of my 'doodlestreet' name, DUH! But I'll just call you 'dood' back...it can be our little thing. Hahahaha...."DOOD!"

  12. Val, I really like this, especially the light coming through the trees! On a vacation once, my family walked through a cabin made out of a section of a single redwood.(I have a picture somewhere). It was really neat, with built in bunks and drawers.(It was part of a traveling Ripleys Museum display).
