Illustration Friday: Leap

My submission for Illustration Friday's "Leap" is from one of my Marisol Greeting Cards and it stems from my having worked in an office when I was younger. It takes a leap to live as an artist and believe in yourself.

  1. I'll print it and give it to my boss next week on a bad day...I'll let you know how that works out for me...you do have room under the stairs to house me should I get fired I suppose...

  11. It certainly does! Imagine leaving everything secure and then venture into a million possibilities. There is something to be said about artists who brave the realm - they must really love what they do and it shows in their work.

  25. How perfect it is a bird cage and we stretch our wings as artist so we can see if we can fly on our own.
