I knew you couldn't be stumped! Very cute! And the little house is even "blue", too.
This is very lovely.MD
Very sweet and cute. You design greeting cards as well?
Oh perfect Val! Everything you do is perfect!
another wonderful submission
Aww. That's so sweet. I love your house in the background, lookin' sad and blue. And doesn't it always seem to happen, that as soon as you wash your car, it rains? I think people in droughts should actually consider washing their cars.
love ur fence it looks like the post or ppl and the rail are arms holding each other and there nodding how soory they all are that it rained on the poor car.mmm maybe im reading to much into it. nice piece
That car has its own personality!
Now Val that is what I call a car wash.the kind I like.Awesome!
This is funny, and always your great hand ( and talent)
Some of us have no luck whatsoever! May the cloud that hangs over that sorry car's head dissipate soon...Lovely illustration, Val!

You always have a fitting piece of work! I think the car looks awesome - great personality!
Now! Young lady, that is very cynical... even if it happening here all the time at the moment... I think that is the cloud following me around! Such nice colours, I love it. Never disappointing.
very humouros take: the car is beatifully rendered!
Hello :o) I love your illustrations :o) keep in touch, Issi
Perfect! You have a perfect illustration for everything! I love how plump the car is and how the house is blue and looks so sad. Gorgeous illustration! Your colors are always so vibrant and just wonderful!
I like the spongy look of the tires, as if they're soaking up the rain, then growing like one of those dinosaur sponge toys.
Love the illo. So cute. This is so wierd. We just washed the car and it started pouring rain about ten minutes ago and then I read this post. Funny. The comment above was me. Oops.love
You must have a zillion pieces!! Incredible work. :)...................dood!
Hi Val !I really like your comments and drawings. Thanks again, Maria
Love it, love it, love it.*hotwires the car and runs away* =P
Oh, this is so sweet. I love the little house in the background. Very very nice!
I like your airbrush work and your unique interpretation of the theme.
val… great job… and i do love that sympathetic house… i almost wish i could tell if all those flowers were laughing… for some reason i get that feeling from them…
This is great! I love the way you've captured the irony of rain happening as soon as you wash your car...the cloud seems to only be over the car. And the car...it seems to be cowering under the downpour! I love how much personality you give to inanimate objects.
At the risk of repeating what everyone else already said, I just LOVE this! it is SO me. every time it rains I always get a phone call from my dad asking if I happened to wash the car the day before.. :)
Awesome as usual! Fantastic job!
Oh, the little house looks so sad too!!! Big clean hugs for the car. So cute, natch.Smooch,The Tart; )
Phenomenal, yet another inanimate object quickened to life!
That cloud is being very naughty ! We need some sky police or something, that goes for birds who wanna drop lil' presents on my car...:-DSweet illustration !stevePoisonPencil
I agree with Janet... that house in the background looks really sorry for the auto. Hope the rainy Sunday in SoCal didn't dampen your spirits.Wonderful.
charming! I love the little bulgy car.
LOL, very cute Val...I LOVE THE ATC!!! Thank you so much, your work is incredible :)
This is the sort of luck I have when I wash my car! *G* What a great illustration. :0)
Hello! that's what my Mr do when his car need a wash.
LOL! You could give the Disney character animators a go with your car design! Love it.
It makes me feel sorry for the car, or the car-washer better said. It goes with a dose of self-pity, being reminded that the famous one rain cloud appears over me a lot of the time, too. Only I am a a byciclist. And perhaps its not that I have magnetic powers to draw in rain clouds whenever I go ride the bike, perhaps its rather living in this part of Germany... A very lovely card!
Love the little cloud following the car--I've seen a sunny place in a storm and a cloud over just one house. This is cute! Mary :-)
Love this card! I feel a bit like the car today.
