Illustration Friday: foggy

My submission for Illustration Friday's "foggy" theme is one of two wine labels I painted for Justin Vineyards. The grape Nebbiolo is sometimes associated with fog so the owner of the vineyard, Justin Baldwin asked me to feature a soft fog through the rolling hills.

Thank you for all the beautiful comments that you left for Ratty boy. It means so much :(

Here again you see that 'less is more'; your hint of fog is just right. Nice. Like the music.

Oh, Val! You've lost a treasured friend! I feel for you, but know that, in time, pain will ease and the happy memories will remain.

The wine labels look pretty swish. Exactly what a wine-bibber like myself would appreciate!

I love this moonlit scene - so peaceful and beautiful - I could happily sit there and just watch the rolling fog - wonderful illustration!

Sorry to hear about your dog! That other page did not allow comments, at least not for me, and it crashed my browser.

Great illustration work, as always.

Another great illustration, Valerie! I was going to give you the same award that Mike did, but when I read Eric's post, I saw that you were one of the 7 (including me) that he gave the award to! :) Congrats anyway!

Nice fog. Very appropriate for a wine. That sounds like a fun project; your style works perfectly for it too.

I love this. I have to admit I sometimes buy wines based on how cool the labels are... these would definitely make it into the shopping cart! Beautiful work, Valerie.
