Illustration Friday: clutter

I had the most wonderful time on my holiday and I got home and had the flu all week :( This is my submission for Illustration Friday's "clutter" but it is really for ""memories" which is my kinda theme but I just didn't feel well enough to participate. My desk is always filled with clutter and from the clutter comes memories. This is one of my memories from Martha's Vineyard, I have much detail work to do on it but you get the gist. I will post the final version when I'm done. Here are a few memories from my trip and I will put some on flickr soon.

Speaking of clutter "on my desk", "Linzie Hunter"is participating in a groovy show in London and would like y'all to come :) If you are there please do, I would love to go!

Thank You to all who came by even though I wasn't home :)

Hope that you're feeling better! Your desk looks very much like mine. Look forward to seeing the completed piece. I've been to Nantucket where my sister-in-law rents a house every summer and I imagine that Martha's vineyard is just as beautiful.

Sorry you were sick! Great trip pictures, though... and your clutter at the top looks like the best kind-- clutter in the service of creating beauty. Great stuff!

Welcome home! Wonderful to have you back... loved peaking at all your photos, getting to see your desk where all your lovely pieces are produced. I love Marthas Vineyard as well, my husband used to summer there quite a bit.

Artist clutter is always wonderful. Somehow, it doesn't seem like clutter to me! It's been a few years since I've visited Martha's Vineyard, but it looks as lovely as ever! How were the crowds? I liked it better when it was more undiscovered by celebrities.

Welcome home! I sure hope you're feeling better now. Well, at least you got sick after, and not during your lovely trip. The photos are beautiful, beautiful!!! Looks like you had the most spectacular weather.

I LOVE your deep desk and the memory you're working on. It looks fabulous already, and I can't wait til you post the finished version.
