Illustration Friday: modify

Charlie was worried when he heard his family's plans to modify his dog house, but when he saw the results he was quite pleased. My submission for Illustration Friday's "modify" theme is a 3" x 3" painting for the ArtHouse Canvas Project which starts today at the Atlanta Airport Atrium Gallery through Sept. 4th. Below are a few more views.

Of course Charlie is pleased. And so am I. I love that he has his own "weatherbone" to check the direction from which those scents are coming. How you can convey so much in such a small space is not only delightful but amazin!

I...I mean my dog would love a house like that. I really like the grass, and the side views of the canvas are fantastic. This is wonderful!

with a simple but beautiful nature background, your house always stands out and you'll never go wrong with a dog or cat in it because almost everyone loves to see them as a member of a household, even for the non pet lovers....

this dog house for me is really outstanding. so simple and sweet...

So sweet and so much detail in a very tiny painting! Yes, Val, that was my son dribbling the ball on my blog. That was some very old footage that we were just checking to see if we could upload. He's actually entering his senior year in high school and now focuses just on baseball. Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks master! My dogs had their dog house but they didn't use it as we always keep them inside the house to prevent them to get dirty. They sleep with us on the bed...

Valerie, I am absolutely floored by your art. You know that. Your colors and whimsy and magic send my head spinning in a tizzy. But to actually see you in action on that video....Aaaah, I just about exploded! Wow! You are not only incredibly talented and gifted, but you are gorgeous and sweet. Absolutely amazing work.

I wanted to thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for the sweet message that you left for me earlier this summer. I'm sorry it's taken me a while to visit, but I certainly did not forget. Your kindness and warmth brought me solace and strength. I am very grateful for your friendship.

xoxo
