Illustration Friday: resolutions

This is a "houscape" I did for a lovely woman in Sherman Oaks in 2010. She works in the field of music for major motion pictures and I am proud to have captured her home and I made the frame for the painting too. It is actually dark green but hard to tell in my photo. My resolutions are few but I resolve to do more unique and interesting projects if possible this year and see where my artistic adventures take me... My submission for Illustration Friday's "resolutions" is airbrush acrylic on wood and it is called "Dixie Canyon" :)

she must be positively over the moon with this painting in her home.

i know, because i have a postively over the moon painting of my own.

if i could take only one possession with me into the unknown it would be my positively over the moon painting.

i love it val, and you.

Lovely, Val...you inspire me, too! I resolve to draw a house this year! (but it won't come close to your prowess in that area!)

May the new year bring you warmth so you can spend more time cookin' up some cool art stew like this one ;)

(Hard to paint the details with a chill on...)

Happy New Year, Valerie! Your illustration is warm and inviting, as always. AND you make frames, too. Wish I could do that!
