Illustration Friday: Tattoo

I had an art emergency this morning.I broke something I just completed. aaaaargh! I fixed it and spent a while looking for this old spot illustration. Tom's House of Tiny Tattoos. You know the world has gone to pot when a girl, as a symbol of devotion has her new boyfriends initials in the shape of a heart tattooed on her body parts. Babs new friend seems to be a bad influence! Kitties these days, they are so romantic...

Lady and the Tramp...with cats! I wonder if Tom's Tattoo Parlor is for cats as well?

You are amazing. How do you manage to have so many perfect contributions to IF just lurking in your studio and files? Are you ever stumped? Charming illustration, Val.

Does the tattoo parour employ mice to do the tiny work ? And do they shave the kitty first to add the tattoo...

Kitty Love:> I have to agree with Andrea...it's pretty darn amazing how you always seem to have just the right thing for each week's topic. This is absolutely adorable. I sure wish I could see it a little bigger to get the detail. The cats' faces look so cute!

Because of your illo, i'm wondering, just what sort of tattoo a cat might go for-something in mouse, or tuna perhaps? Creative and warm as usual.

I'm back!
Great illo! Are the kitties waiting to get a tattoo?

Aww. It's kinda romantic! Of course, there is a downside, like when Johnny Depp began dating Winona Ryder, he tattooed "Winona Forever" onto his arm. Then they split up.

Thankfully, the boy is clever. He lives on a wine estate in France and now the tattoo says "Wino Forever."
