My submission for Illustration Friday's "Match" is a dimensional painting I made in 1991 for the Revness family in Brentwood. This piece is called "Some Enchanted Evening". The guy is seranading the woman and if this works out it is a match made in heaven...

well the way i c it if he can get her half way up the bridge then some how she stumbles and slides the other half right into his palce serenation over, mission accomplished. great colors in this seems to have a magical feel to it maybe its his sing creating a spell on her alrite enough

Very sweet and romantic - reminds me of the houses of Frida Kahlo and Diego Riveria, I think they had blue houses joined by a bridge :)

beautiful work… what i don't get is why he doesn't just use the bridge… or why she doesn't come running across said bridge into his arms…
I do like the dimensional look, gives me the feeling the lovers could cross that little bridge that isolates one from the other, and
I love paintings that pull me in, and this little scene is full of drama and purpose. Lucky Revness family.
