Illustration Friday: Change

My Submission for Illustration Friday's "Change" comes from a painting titled "Hanging Around". If dry cleaning was sent through your home, you'd always be ready for a change!

I made this painting in 1997 and hung it in a gallery on Main Street in Santa Monica and within a few days a naked person came in and bought it. Just kidding, they wore clothes. Have a fun weekend my friends!
Hanging Around is Acrylics on masonite, wood, foam, paper, prismacolor pencil, and cord. copyright 1997

Val, you're too funny! This is quite a charming one...but you're right, I wouldn't want dry cleaning running through my home. Great colors!

Val Gal: Since I was of the K-9 pursuasion in my last lifetime I'm not all that familiar with clothing. They give you one spandex fur suit when you are a puppy and it just grows with you. My last one has a nasty set of tire tracks but since I'm planning on being a human next time I'm sure I'll be a natty dresser. Pax et Amo. B.D.

Super! You know what I like a lot about tour work?... the rich blue sky you often paint in the background... the art is always refreshing.

Oh, I could totally live here! Would I have to be naked? Hee. What a great concept. You can win an award for Best use of Color.

Hi Val! Great illustration and love your humor. My dry cleaning bills are a killer. I think I would prefer the luxury of being naked. No, on second thought, I would definitely not!!! I have been on a bit of a sabbatical but am back now, the summer has been really busy. Thanks for stopping by and for all your warm supportive comments!
