Illustration Friday: Trouble

Please click on to the small picture , it's a bit more clear but the laundry pole got cut off .

My Submission for Illustration Friday's "Trouble" is from a painting called "Puppy Love". The image was used for a puzzle produced and distributed in Japan. It was funny to me that they chose this image but it sold very well there and was even reprinted too. The artist Michael Bedard intoduced me to a wonderful Japanese agent and within a short period I got a very large puzzle deal. The company that made these puzzles did a beautiful job, replete with a board, glue, sponge and my very own valgal sticker!

Sorry to those that have seen this image before, my work load has tripled for the holiday season and my whole goal with IF is to go as long as I can using existing works. Speaking of that it is now one year that I started my blog and posting on Illustration Friday and I have made it through all those weeks using my art from the past so I can't Thank everyone enough for all your fun comments and inspiration. I hope it goes on and on!

Val, I can see why this was a big seller, it is absolutely adorable in a wonky sort of way. I am glad you showed it again cuz I never saw it the first time.

Wonky! That's the word I was going to use. Love the colores too!

ValGal: As a former dog, I love this piece. I definitely remember the trouble I got into for eating the crotch out of my mistress' panties. I look forward to more of the same in my next lifetime. Pax et Amo. Bad Dog (deceased)

Happy One Year Blogaversary!
I like this again....it made me think of when I was a kid; we were on our way to Florida, and my Dad pulled over (it seemed like in the middle of nowhere)and we all went inside one of those "wonky" looking optical illusian houses.

Great house, perfect for the theme. Really like the dog... a follow-up to the pooch in the 'quiet' neighborhood last week.
Congrats on the one-year anniversary. I'm two weeks from mine.

Hey Valgal,

It worries me that an insane, dead dog keeps posting comments.... I remember this piece and have always loved it (in spite of the missing skier)....
