Illustration Friday: poem

My submission for Illustration Friday's "poem" is from my 2004 HomeMade calendar and the title is "Beach House". This is for the month of July and the quote is: "I wiped away the weeds and foam, I fetched my seaborn treasures home." ~Ralph Waldo Emerson~

I love the iron work on the roof! And is that an antenna?

Your homes are so alive, I could swear they have souls.

For me, it's another hellish subject this week, so well done. xxx

Would be a great little cottage here in Huntington Beach, great roof for looking out at the ocean.

Aaah! It is great to be here. I missed two IF posts from you because I was in the Black Hills and there was no Internet access, just the dark sky bejeweled by the stars.

Love the Ralph Waldo house! But, then again, any reference to Ralph is excellent. It brightens my day.

the complimentary colours make this piece absolutely delicious. I really enjoy the little details you apply here and there. The counterbalance of the houses in the background is the perfect touch... bravo!
