My submision for Illustration Friday's "seed" is one of my Marisol greeting cards and the interior is a gift certificate that promises love and friendship.

I love this card. I have it. I have always liked formal gardens. I often wonder how you come up with ideas.

beautiful Val. You know, I had a vision once. That was heaven's gate looked like-- a trellis and everything leading you to this beautiful field of flowers. Actually, I think it was the place you go in between dying and heaven. But still...

Hi dood!

So I have a buddy in the Seattle area who is an outstanding and brilliant sculptress...she made cement garden sculptures and well as did some metal welding that was just remarkable. Such a huge talent. I had several of her pieces, but my favorite one was brought to mind when I saw your birdbath...

Here is a link to the one I have...it is the one on top with the little hippos...just so sweet. It's wonderful to make connections with such talented and creative minds...like her...and YOU!
