Illustration Friday: wilderness

My submission for Illustration Friday's "wilderness" is a doodle piece on a scrap of arches paper notice the deckle edge. I call this "leave a little light on". I have lived in a lot of little houses that look like this :)

Hey val, I love this house and thanks for leaving the light on :o) Simply beautiful. I have to draw a bunch of houses on a page for a book I'm working on... while I was sketching I was thinking..."I wish I could whip up houses like Val!" :o)

this is the masterpiece you offer the world, val: sanctuaries with alittle and enough light that reminds all is well.

On my way home from the forest I can see that little light in that precious house. What a lovely sight.

I too have lived in little houses.... they are always just the right size at the time we are within.

I love your little house Valerie. The pointy roof made me think that maybe a good witch lives here baking magic chocolate chip cookies every day for anyone who comes by in the cold snow who just might be needing a cup of hot chocolate. It gets the imagination going.
