Rat
Rat loves bones! About once a month I go to Topanga Creek Mkt. and I buy Rat a big ol bone. He takes it to his special place. If you could see under the ivy it looks like a bone graveyard but Rat takes great pride in his vast collection and he does not like to share!

What a fun blog you have! Rat looks like a senior citizen (my older dog is almost 15...)but maybe he's just prematurely grey. Looks like you have some fantastic outlets for your creativity, and I think your "Night" outhouse is the coolest.
Rat is 10 but he is a Queensland Heeler and the black and white fur is known as Blue, That is why you hear dogs referred to as Blue Heelers or Blue Merles. The dingo(Brown and cream) bred with the dalmatian (blk and white) in Austrailia and created the Queensland Heeler or Cattle Dog. In case you couldn't tell he is my furry child!
I also have a blue dog (a blue merle -- with a few dilute patches -- Australian Shepherd, age 8 and unusually high energy, even for an Aussie) so I recognised Rat's typical ACD colouration, but he still looks a bit grizzled around the eyes. Was he always like that?
Val -- check my July and October archives for a glimpse of my blue running partner. :)
Val, Love your art! A style of its own! Haunted house box is beautiful!
Rat, a dog, eh?
