Illustration Friday: Polar

My submission for Illustration Friday's "Polar" is from some stationary that I made for Marisol. It was created to encourage children to write more letters, especially "Thank You" letters to family, friends and even strangers for their kindness. They sold through the PTA and it was a worthy idea and project. Printed on recycled paper with a matching envelope they can be used with your printer as well, so there is no excuse for not thanking someone. We did another set with Thank You written in every language and of course I did buildings from around the world. I'm sure I will post it in the future. The image shows that a house is a gift . Happy Illustration Friday!

Happy Illustration Friday to you too! This is a wonderful idea, and a beautiful illustration. You don't need to be a child to just want to sit right down and start writing to someone.

Dear Valerie,
Thank you for creating such lovely illustrations and
sharing them with us.
Your friend,
Ginger *:)

Very very nice! This design would have worked out perfect at my last job working for a pre printed design paper company! Check it out: www.geographics.com-- I think they still have some of my designs on line-- this paper design would have been just what they are looking for!

It's kind of fun to see the winter theme at this time of year. Cheerful as always.

Val,

Only you can draw, paint and illustrate a house 100 times and 100 times each will be uniques, attractive and desirable. If this design is for kids then I am a kid. Lovely - AGAIN!

I am enjoying using your beautiful cards!!!

Very nice work Val! People seem to be less thankful than in the past. Courtesy is a thing of the past it seems! Hope your show is a big success!!!
