Illustration Friday: Remember

My submission for Illustration Friday's "Remember" is from a tea package I made for a tea company called "Three Tea and Tonic". I did a night version and a day version but they chose the night version so this was never used. I will always remember the beauty of Topanga in the spring.

The delay in my post is due to my not having Internet access since Thursday evening. There is something wrong with my dsl. I hope to be back online tomorrow so if you have written to me I will get to you soon. I'm at my neighbors for a limited posting as I have never missed IF yet!

I love the big trees and the cottage nestled in the background. It gives such a delicious, cozy feeling, Val!

About the dsl postscript. Isn't it amazing what we miss if it we don't have access for a day? I don't blog everyday but I certainly want to be able to do so when the need arises. Good luck with the dsl.

This is a fitting illo for remember, the way the trees set up a frame for a view of a "feeling".

A very welcoming feeling to this illo., I imagine being out for a walk and heading back for tea. Probably just what they wanted! Well done.

Wow, this kind of airbrush work is totally impressive, and so right for the subject material! I love the subject and composition - it'd be nice to see the night and day side-by-side (but I realise you probably can't but the night one up if it was used commercially).
